Team Singapore @ Beijing CSIOJ

On the 27th September 2017, Tara Khan, Tara Wee and Christie Nair with Team Coach Predrag Marjanovic went to Beijing to participate in the CSIO J. A total of 4 countries took part in the Junior Category, Russia, China, Indonesia and Singapore.

During the training sessions our riders faced some challenge; Tara Khan was not used to Lord M, a big stallion with big striding but found him very honest to jump. Tara Wee fell in love with her horse Quintino and Christie Nair had a hot feisty horse Ugolin.

Team Singapore performed well with their new horses, skillfully adapted to their horses under Predrag’s watchful eye and succinct guidance. On 29th in the 100cm Junior Against the Clock, Christie finished 12th (4 faults), Tara Khan 17th (5 faults) and Tara Wee 18th 6 faults) out of a field of 20 riders.

For the Junior Nations Cup, Singapore finished 3rd with a total of 64 faults over 2 rounds. China took home first place with a total of 24 faults and Russia 2nd with a total of 36 faults.

A wonderful experience for riders and thumbs up to the organizers for top class, professionally run show!
